Twenty Years Ago...

It seems like yesterday, but it was twenty years ago that the dream of Martin Daniel Interiors became a reality. Two thousand and six is a milestone in our history, and we remember very well the early days. Ginette and I made the commitment, when we opened, not to become “just another furniture store”. We were determined to do it differently, and we did.

We remember, as if it were yesterday, unloading the first containers from Italy ourselves. We remember waiting in anticipation for any customer to come through the door. We remember the uncertainty of having our own business.

Today twenty years later, we have weathered many storms, and we have acquired the finest Toronto clientele. Our two children, Valerie and Martin have been fully active in the last several years and are now running the operation. With this renewed energy and our energetic staff, now four times our original size, and as we celebrate twenty successful years, the basic principles of the first days are stronger than ever. We still do it differently and follow our internal mission statement:

"To provide the finest quality product in an innovative environment, with a professional sales approach and offering the best service in the industry."
